Remembering Scott Weston Wolford (September 12, 1064 – April 1, 2018)
Since the age of seven, Scott swam competitively. He eventually swam for the Chesterton Varsity team all four years in High School. He swam in State meets two of those years, and was All Conference his senior year. In his adult life, Scott swam with the US Masters and was a long-valued member of the Duneland Masters. Scott was well known throughout the community in general, but particularly with fellow swimmers. Whether a new friend was a beginner or a novice, Scott was always a positive role model and a cheerleader. Being a man of big dreams, he was always willing to help and encourage others. Through his daily social media posts dubbed “Good things of the Day,” Scott reminded everyone to enjoy even the smallest blessing life had to offer.
